“Everybody gets to do what they wanna do” (Larry Schultz, creator of Rocket)
When Larry created Rocket, his aim was to make the Ashtanga Vinyasa practice more accessible, to create a practice that was fun, peppered with challenges, but also full of options, so all bodies of all levels of experience could join in. There was something for everyone.
Maybe it’s the name, maybe it’s the whispers of handstands and sweaty mats, but instead of this, Rocket has got a reputation for being intimidating.
In this workshop we will explore the Rocket sequence, discussing its shape, vibe and purpose, then breakdown some of the key sequences and poses, laying out all the available options so you can work out what fits for your body, and to to a Rocket class with confidence!
All levels welcome, except complete beginners.
